While watching a movie with Japanese spoken language
and English subtitles, I heard a phrase that sounded similar
to "sotchi-itashimashita". In english it was translated as
"Got it!" (meaning "I understand").

So, I'm not sure if he really said "sotchi-itashimashita",
but it sounded very close. Any ideas what was really
said in Japanese here??

Most likely « shouchi itashimashita » 「承知いたしました」
